Recommendation engines are an important part of modern websites. Should you build your own? Probably not. Could you learn a lot from building one yourself? You bet! In this talk we'll do just that with the goal of giving you an intuition of how recommendation engines work. The presentation is going to cover the high level basics. Experience in software engineering and math is optional, if you can count to five you should be fine.
